How we keep Ends Town Hall safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone
Ends Town Hall thrives because of our commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment. Every member plays a role in upholding these standards.
We believe in fostering creativity, collaboration, and growth. That means zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or toxicity in any form.
Our Standards
- Be Respectful and Kind Treat all members with dignity and kindness. We're a community of diverse individuals, and we celebrate that diversity.
- Zero Hate Speech No discrimination, harassment, or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion, or any protected characteristic.
- No Spam or Self-Promotion Without Permission Respect our channels. Self-promotion has its place, but spam and unsolicited advertising will result in removal.
- Keep Conversations Constructive Healthy debate is encouraged. Personal attacks, trolling, and bad-faith arguments are not welcome.
- Respect Privacy and Confidentiality Don't share personal data, DMs, or screenshots without explicit consent. Respect everyone's right to privacy.
- Support Beginners and Learners Remember where you started. Be patient, encouraging, and kind to those who are learning.
- Give Credit Where Due If someone's work, code, art, or ideas inspire or assist you, give them credit. Plagiarism is not tolerated.
- Report Violations Responsibly If you see something wrong, report it to our moderators discreetly. Don't engage in call-outs or public shaming.
- Have Fun Responsibly Enjoy yourself, joke around, and be yourself—but do it in a way that doesn't harm others.
- No NSFW or Explicit Content Keep conversations and content appropriate. This is a professional, welcoming space for everyone.
Violations of our community standards are taken seriously. Our moderation team handles reports fairly, consistently, and confidentially.
Consequences may include: Warnings, temporary mutes, role restrictions, or removal from the community. Severe or repeated violations will result in permanent bans.
We're all responsible for maintaining the Ends Town Hall culture. Together, we create a space where everyone can belong, build, and grow.
